Where’s Campus?

We’re located in the heart of Shoreditch and right by Silicon Roundabout at 4-5 Bonhill Street. Nearest tubes include Old Street, Moorgate and Liverpool Street.

When’s Campus open?

Our cafe is open 9am-5:30pm Monday to Friday for members. Over the weekend, we’re open for events and coworking residents can access the building 24/7.

What kind of events do you hold at Campus?

In 2014, we hosted 850 events run by the community for the community; everything from hackathons to conferences, demo days to workshops. Anyone can apply to use our event space for free; our only criteria is that the event is free and aimed at entrepreneurs. For more, head to our "events" tab.

How does the space at Campus work?

Let’s start in the basement, which houses our first come, first served coworking space. Members can post and find jobs on the jobs board, use the device lab and take meetings here. On the ground floor is our main event room, which fits 135. Head upstairs and find TechHub’s coworking space on the first and second floor. The third floor houses our smaller event space and our program floor, where we host programs like Campus for Mums. Seedcamp and UP share the fourth floor. Click to see events.

Why did Google start Campus?

Google began life as a startup in a garage in California, and we’ve kept our passion for entrepreneurship. With Campus, we wanted to create a connecting space, somewhere for founders to network, learn, teach, and grow.

Who are your partners at Campus?

Our coworking floors (1 and 2) are run by TechHub, who run community coworking spaces across the globe from Bangalore to Boston. Seedcamp, a pre-seed and seed-stage acceleration programme, are on our fourth floor, along with community organisers UP who run Startup Weekends, Startup Digest and Startup Next across the globe.

Who’s based at Campus?

The basement is a non-dedicated coworking space for registered Campus members; from entrepreneurs to investors, designers to developers, old hands to first timers, everyone who wants to start a company is welcome. Residents tend to be tech startups based with our partners TechHub or Seedcamp.

How much does it cost to rent a desk at Campus?

Coworking is run by our partners TechHub, who charge £275/month per desk, which includes wifi, tea/coffee and access to their community and events schedule. Don’t live in London or just starting out? Flex membership is £375/year for occasional desk use.

Who chooses who becomes a resident at Campus?

TechHub select who gets a dedicated coworking space and, in general, they select tech startups rather than freelancers or agencies.
